Eastex strengthens manager confidence and retention with
Manager Method

Improved employee retention

Stronger one-on-one coaching culture

Scalable development for technical managers

Foundation set for next-level strategic leadership
Eastex Environmental Labs, a certified woman-owned, employee-owned lab in East Texas, needed a way to equip its technically trained managers with real-world leadership tools. With a people-first culture and a strong focus on regulatory excellence, Eastex turned to Manager Method to build a shared leadership language and drive consistency across teams. In less than a year, they’ve seen improved retention and are now preparing for the next phase of manager development.

Training Managers in a Technical,
Regulated Environment
With 85 employees and a diverse client base spanning municipalities, industrial facilities, and government agencies, Eastex operates under tight regulatory oversight. The lab holds certifications from NELAC, TNI, TCEQ, and the EPA — but recognized that technical excellence alone was not enough.
CEO Susan Cogar-Daniels, a longtime employee turned leader, sought a way to scale leadership capabilities in a way that felt aligned with their mission-driven, non-corporate identity.
“We treat employees like people. We wanted something practical, not corporate. Manager Method fit perfectly.”
